MODEL # RHPH-46R

A very stylish radio from the post World War II era. The well-built, solid, wooden cabinet is partially decorated with leatherette - a unique combination of materials, rarely seen in radios from the 40's. A sliding, tambour cover, protecting the glass dial and a leather handle highlight its original use: portable and battery-operated, the ideal companion for picnics and outdoor festivities. Originally made by Philco, in Philadelphia, USA.

The cabinet of this radio has been reconditioned with extreme care in order to revive its original look and luster. The reconditioning process involves detailed cleaning with environmental-friendly agents, touching up imperfections and applying a French polish finish to restore the warmth and beauty of the wood grain. Minor scratches, dents and blemishes might be present.
