An excellent example of Art Deco craftsmanship from1936. Three original plastic buttons, a large speaker grille decorated with Art Deco elements and a round, plastic bezel complete this rare item of unique beauty. The solid, wooden cabinet is covered with walnut veneer and it has been refinished to perfection by our antique restoration expert team using traditional techniques. Originally manufactured by Montgomery Ward & Co. in Chicago.

The wood cabinet of this radio has been traditionally refinished by our antique restoration team. Refinishing restores the original look, highlights unique aspects of the style and lets the beauty of this 80+ year old piece of history shine again.

French polish - a lengthy, finish technique with origins to the 18th century France - completes the restoration process giving a natural, vivid look to the wood grain that is next to impossible to duplicate with mass-production methods.
