  • What is the difference between the VINTAGE and EXCLUSIVE Collection?
    The VINTAGE Collection consists of original radios and speakers that were converted into bluetooth speakers. They are powered by a AC/DC adaptor, and therefore they are not portable. They are 80+ year old, made out of solid wood or veneer. The speakers of the EXCLUSIVE Collection are hand-made, portable (battery operated) bluetooth speakers. Their design combines vintage and modern elements that blend with the natural,classic beauty of wood.
  • Are the VINTAGE Collection speakers reproductions?
    The VINTAGE Collection comprises of ONLY only authentic radios and speakers that have been collected from all over the world and re-engineered into modern bluetooth speakers. The wood cabinets have been rigorously restored (refinished or reconditioned). They might have minor cosmetic 'imperfections', such as small scratches and dings - expected for their age. The speakers of the VINTAGE Collection are 70-90 years old!
  • What is the restoration process of the radios and speakers from the VINTAGE Collection?
    Depending on the original condition of the radio/speaker, the wood cabinet is either reconditioned or refinished. The reconditioing process retains the original wood stain and finish while the refinishing process restores the original look. The metal chassis with the old electronics is rigorously cleaned and preserved inside the wood cabinet.
  • Why the VINTAGE Collection speakers have a new back cover?
    Tube radios and speakers from the 1920s, 30s and 40s typically do not have a back cover (and if they do, it is badly damaged). The speakers of the VINTAGE Collection do have a new, wooden back cover. It has been uniquely designed-to-fit the dimensions of each radio/ speaker. We term this new back cover as 'rear panel' as it contains all the controls.
  • What is the range of Bluetooth of the RareBlue speakers?
    The range of all of our bluetooth speakers is 10 m ( 30 feet).
  • Is my Bluetooth enabled device compatible with the RareBlue Speakers?
    RareBlue Speakers are compatible with all Android™ and all Apple iOS® devices.
  • How do I control the volume in my Bluetooth speaker?
    The VINTAGE Collection speakers have an integrated volume control knob at their rear panel. The rear panel, uniquely designed by RareBlue, contains all the controls required to operate the speaker. Alternatively, you can adjust the volume from your Bluetooth enabled device. The original knobs do not have any function.

  • What is your return policy?
    If you're not satisfied with your purchase, you can return the item for a full refund (excluding shipping cost) within 30 days of the order delivery date.
